Gameplay

We Need To Go Deeper revolves around an undersea exploration filled with threats and dangers, mainly in the form of terrifying sea creatures that will try to turn your submarine to pieces. With up to 3 other players or computer-controlled characters, you will have to try your best and cooperate to survive as long as possible and get as far as you can. The game combines underwater exploration, dungeon crawling, and resource management and turns them into an epic adventure you wouldn’t want to miss.

Dynamic Difficulty Level

The game was made with replayability in mind. As such, no two play sessions will be exactly the same – procedurally generated content will be a source of countless surprises, so you should be prepared for everything. Combined with the game’s dark and mysterious setting, this also creates a unique and terrifying atmosphere, where you should be constantly on your guard, as you never know where the monsters will come from next.

Cooperation At Its Finest

The game puts emphasis on cooperation, which plays a crucial role during the journey. As such, even though the game can be played solo with computer-controlled characters, it’s advisable to team up with real players instead. As you explore the dungeons, everyone can use a variety of tools and weapons to help the team survive – tackling the challenges is much more efficient when you can split the roles and make it clear who’s responsible for what. The same goes for manning the submarine – this is especially important during monster encounters when someone should take the steer, someone should fire the guns, and someone should do the repairs and take care of energy management.
