The Evil Within 2 + The Last Chance Pack

The Evil Within 2 is a sequel of the third-person survival horror game from 2014, developed by Japanese studio Tango Gameworks. The game was created under the watchful eye of Shinji Mikami, father of well-known and respected series such as Onimusha, Dino Crysis, and Resident Evil. Just like its predecessor, the game is maintained in a terrifying atmosphere, trying to trigger the uncontrollable feeling of hopelessness and fear in players. TEW 2 will certainly make some of you jump off your seats and your heart racing!

Dark and gloomy storyline

In Evil Within 2 (PC), players will once again step into the shoes of known form the first part of the game, detective Sebastian Castellanos - a grieving father who’s lost his daughter, Lily, in a house fire. Those tragic events have dragged him into depression and alcoholism. Sebastian regains hope when soon he finds out that Lily didn’t die but was kidnapped.

After finding a lead, he goes to a seemingly idyllic town of Union, to rescue his daughter. However, the Union is not just one of the countless small towns that can be found all over the world. A mysterious association called Morbius, have been using Lily to create a new, alternative universe. Now you must help the detective to survive a lethal journey through the world of nightmares and rescue his beloved child.

New, improved gameplay mechanics

The gameplay of The Evil Within 2 is based on mechanics presented in the first part of the game, however, the sequel improves those ideas. Just like in any other TPP game, the camera is placed behind the back of the protagonist. The game gives the player many means of eliminating numerous different types of hideous and equally terrifying enemies. If you want, you can kill the creatures using heavy, firepower or use quiet weapons like crossbow if you prefer a more subtle, stealthy approach.

Keep in mind, that being too confident is rarely a good idea – sometimes the best thing you can do is run without looking behind your back; especially while you running low on ammo, which will happen quite often here. Sebastian’s equipment has been enriched with a communicator, allowing him to contact his former protégé, Julia Kidman, who is his only contact with our reality. The device will also help the detective find items, resources, and information about side activities.
