Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an open-world action RPG game developed by Game Freak in 2022. The game is kind of a revolution in the Pokémon video game series - this time, players will be able to freely explore the region of Hisui, from the third-person perspective, spending most of their time studying the life of local Pokemons, catching them, and training. The game design reminds the artistic style of the extremely successful Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The new Pokemon game received very positive reviews among the gaming community.

Study their behavior, and learn about their strengths and weaknesses. This knowledge will be especially helpful during real-time encounters with wild creatures. During combat, players will have to carefully observe Pokémons behavior, and use the best commands depending on the situation.

New Pokémon catching mechanics

Hisui is a big place and you can find Pokémons living in all kinds of places. Track down new Pokémons, observe their behavior, and catch them to add vital information for your Pokédex 'prototype'. Most of the time you will have to beat them in a battle in order to catch them, however, if you manage to sneak up on them and make the perfect Pokéball throw there is a chance to catch them without a duel!

Complete the Pokédex

In order to achieve a full Pokédex entry, you will have to complete a set of specific tasks. They include catching a certain number of the specific Pokémon, observing their behavior, and even evolving them.
