Pikmin 4

Pikmin 4 is the fourth main and the sixth overall instalment of the best-selling Nintendo Switch real-time strategy franchise, Pikmin. This critically acclaimed video game was developed by Eighting and Nintendo EPD and published by Nintendo in 2023.

Let's save the day

Just like the previous instalments, Pikmin 4’s family-friendly gameplay is a perfect combination of an action-adventure platformer with RTS and puzzle elements. For the first time in the series’ history, you can become a customizable playable character and assume the role of a member of the Rescue Corps. Explore the mysterious planet PNF-404 and help the titular Pikmin - a friendly tribe of plant-animal hybrids - and the cute canine, Oatchi, find and rescue Captain Olimar!

Pikmin, a helpful crowd of colourful creatures, are ready to overcome any obstacle in order to help you out. Guide them and make them perform various tasks for you, making the best of their unique abilities based on their colour (for example, the Red Pikmin are immune to heat and fire, and are much better fighters than others). Pikmin 4 introduces two new kinds of Pikmin: the Glow Pikmin (very useful at night!) and the Ice Pikmin (they can freeze water and their opponents, and are immune to being frozen).

You’ve got a friend in me

That’s not all though - your new friend, Oatchi, is ready to help you out as well! Make him attack your enemies, carry heavy objects around and even transport you and the Pikmin crowd around the map. His magnificent nose may also sniff the hidden treasures out. Use them to unlock new areas of the map!

You can explore the stunningly beautiful planet of PNF-404 during the day and night - use the new Glow Pikmin to discover new places and recover resources in the new tower-defence-like Night Time Expeditions mode. Enjoy the single-player mode or get to know the brand-new Pikmin story with a friend in co-op mode. You can also test your skills out in a competitive mode called Dandori Battle, where you can compete against the AI or other players. The world of Pikmin will never leave you bored!
