You’ll be able to play through LAN in Splatoon 2

Up to eight players will be able to play the game without the need for internet connection.

It’s interesting to see this information in the times of always online features and even our refrigerators being able to connect via Wi-Fi. As you see above, it was confirmed that you’ll be able to play Splatoon 2 through LAN, up to eight players will join the fight.

Nintendo Switch has the option to connect wirelessly through the router, but there’s also a feature called LAN Play. Eight devices can be connected for the most stable, cable setup. It’s a great solution especially if we have tournaments in mind.

There’s also a Private Battle Spectator View, which allows two additional Switch devices to spectate the ongoing match.
