That’s right, HoMM fans: you can try out the upcoming new installment in the Heroes franchise free of charge and duke it out with other players online. Gotta hurry, though, as the game is available in Early Access until March 28.
To join the playtests, you need to head over to the game’s Steam store page and click on the “Request access” button. You’ll receive a notification once you’re selected and the game will be automatically added to your library.
What is Olden Era, anyway? The latest addition to the cult classic series of turn-based strategies, Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era harken backs to Heroes of Might & Magic III, a fan favorite and one of the most revered games of all time. It promises familiar gameplay with modern audiovisuals.
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era is planned for release in the second quarter of 2025.
