Witcher 3 upgraded consoles patch is coming

If you splashed out for the Pro or the X you’ll be glad to hear it.

CD Projekt Red announced that a patch for Witcher 3 will shortly arrive to improve the looks of the game on the upgraded PlayStation 4 Pro. The news came from Adam Kicinski, the company’s boss, during an earning’s call earlier.

The patch will bump the game up to 4K, apparently. A similar add-on will come later this year for the Xbox One X, but in both cases, the specific release date is shrouded in mystery.

Witcher 3 is with us for quite some time now supported by plenty of free DLC and two major expansions making the game a thorough and enjoyable experience.
