Ah, WipEout, a game that introduced the gamers all around the world to the idea that speed could bend your eye-sight.
Being the launch title for the first PlayStation, of course, meant that the series has always been the apple of Sony’s fans’ eyes. The Omega Collection, spanning WipEout HD, WipEout HD Fury and WipEout 2048, has been released on June 7.
It’s been 22 years now since the first WipEout, well, wiped out our minds with dynamic gameplay and fantastic music and now we are able to experience it in glorious 4K, about which no one have even dreamed about back in the middle of the 1990s. You remember that Psygnosis was closed in 2012, right? Well, let’s hope that the guys from the defunct company at least got some promotional copies of their baby’s new version.
