Vermintide 2 goes free to play this weekend

If you’re reading this now, the weekend has already started and you don’t have much time left, but you can still catch some of the Vermintide 2.

After the thoroughly lit (because it was bright) summer party and coinciding with the Shadows Over Bogenhafen DLC release, you can enjoy the fantastic spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead (because Valve can’t count to 3) for free until Monday.

The DLC itself is a fun affair, adding two new maps, new quests and new cosmetic items. One of these days we’ll get that thing we all want from Vermintide, which is the ability play as the Skaven, but not today, sadly.

I encourage you to try it out, Vermintide 2 is one of the most fun multiplayer games on the market right now, even if it can get slightly stale after a while.
