Take-Two representatives, in a conversation with Gamesindustry.biz, put our worries to sleep announcing that the company is indeed working on a couple of AAA titles together with indie developers.

The firm usually works in a different manner than its main competitors not releasing yearly iteration of their flagship franchises, except for their sports portfolio. However, it doesn’t mean that there aren’t any big titles in the works. As Strauss Zelnick explains:

We have a number of titles that Michael Worosz’s group is developing with independent developers, which are intended to be AAA products. We are quiet about it because there isn’t much to say. They are in development and we’ll bring those to market as and when.

Zelnick also mentioned that the games in question will start being marketed when the time is right, not giving the fans any indication as to when that might happen. For now, we are waiting for the XCOM 2 expansion as well as this year’s WWE and NBA 2K.
