Super Mario Run now available for iOS

Android version will release in 2017.

It’s a rare thing to see Mario visiting non-Nintendo hardware. It’s a part of company’s efforts to grab a piece of the mobile market. Super Mario Run is now available for iOS users. There’s an Android version planned but without a precise release date in 2017.

iTunes download weights 205 MB. You’ll be able to play in six worlds – 24 maps in total. Super Mario Run is a runner game where the main character never stops and you are tasked to tap the screen to use various jumps and beat the level.

Toad Rally, a challenge mode, is also available for those who’ll gather enough in-game funds to join. Microtransactions are almost non-existent with only one in-app payment for a full access to Worlds 1-6.
