Starbreeze will publish System Shock 3

Hold your horses – the game won’t release in the near future.

Starbreeze, the company that’s publishing Psychonauts 2, will now handle the global release of System Shock 3 developed by OtherSide Entertainment. Don’t try to spend your money at preorders right now though, as there are none and it will take “a bit” before before it launches.

System Shock 3 is still in early concept stages, but Warren Spector is behind the project. There are also many experienced developers that worked previously on the original System Shock, as well as the Deus Ex and Thief series, working on the project.

Meanwhile, we’ll soon be able to play a remake of the first System Shock. No specific release date was shared until now, though.
