The video released by Rare is the most informative piece of content that has been available for Sea of Thieves until now. Here it is:

We get to have a peek at the character customization but it quickly moves onto the gameplay experience. We learn that there is a strong focus on factions in the game.

Your reputation within each faction will dictate what quests and missions you can perform and different factions have different goals and types of assignments for you.

Sea of Thieves will be released in March 2018 for PC and Xbox One.
