If you are waiting for the Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League, then we have some good news to share.
Jeremy Dunham of Psyonix stated during an interview with Gamespot that the game will run at 720p, 60 fps on the latest Nintendo console. It does not matter whether you are playing docked, undocked, in splitscreen co-op or in handheld mode, Rocket League will perform the same way.
What’s interesting is the fact that Switch players will be able to compete with PC and Xbox One gamers as Rocket League is using cross-play. Sony is refusing to participate in this worthy endeavor, citing the need to “protect children from outside influences,” whatever that means.
Rocket League for the Nintendo Switch is set to release during this holiday season.
