Oblivions comes to Skyrim’s engine… sometime in the future.
There are some interesting mods coming to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. There’s Skywind, getting better and better with every video update, which plans to transfer Morrowind’s world and story to Skyrim’s engine. But there’s also the Skyblivion mod.
Yep, you’ve guessed right. This time it is Oblivion that’s being transferred to Skyrim’s tools. I’m not a die-hard fan of TES IV, but the game had its moments and it’s good to see a group of eager fans work together. The mod look really gorgeous.
Original Oblivion is available on current generation of consoles via Xbox One’s Backward Compatibility. Who knows, maybe Bethesda’s lawyers are blind enough to miss the project and we’ll see both Skywind and Skyblivion available via mod support in Skyrim Special Edition.
