While this sales are somehow impressive, others are not that inspiring for Capcom.

If you remember earlier reports, Capcom expected Dead Rising 4 to sale in numbers bigger than two million copies. Unfortunately, as we learned through financial reports, the game “severely underperformed.” Other titles from this company got a much better results.

Resident Evil 7, as you know from the title of this news, shipped 3.5 million units and Capcom believes the game “performed well.” Although the publisher’s projected sales forecasted 4 million, it’s a safe bet to expect the next game in the series.

The future of both IPs is currently unknown, but we hope for at least another try (and a much different take) on the Dead Rising series.
