Gamers, the time has come – the first RDR has finally made its way to personal computers. Rockstar, what took you so long? At long last PC-based gamers can get to know another chapter of John Marston’s story (Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel), coupled with a bunch of technical upgrades.

Red Dead Redemption. Man, what a game. GTA in the Wild West, some might say. Others might call it one of the greatest tales about the cycle of violence and redemption in gaming. But they all seem to speak in unison: this is truly one of the best titles ever released.

Set in a fictionalized take on the Western United States and Northern Mexico of the early 20th century, the game puts you in the shoes of the above-mentioned John Marston, a former outlaw now forced to work for the government. Your task? Hunt down three members of your old gang. Your reward? Play along nicely and your family might just once again walk free.

RDR offers an incredible open world with tons of random encounters and things to do. So, if you’re looking forward to playing this fabled cowboy simulator on your PC, you’re in luck!
