The full release of the game pushed the boundaries again.
It was inevitable it seems because PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is literally shattering all records. September saw 1 million users playing at the same time, November recorded 2 million and now the game hits 3 million concurrent players.

The information was also confirmed by Valve’s statistics and it is worth looking at it in perspective as the next highest played game on Steam is Dota 2 with 1,29 million records.
There is also a more worrisome number within the game as about 1,5 million hackers have been banned up to now, which is a staggering result.
PUBG is available for PC with a full release and in Game Preview for Xbox One.
