That PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is an enormously popular game is without a doubt, but it reaches new heights as it’s catching up to the best of the best as far as concurrent users playing are concerned.
The top 5, as far as Steam’s rankings are concerned, got shuffled. Bluehole’s shooter got to 382,561 players simultaneously shooting each other in the face, which means surpassing GTA V and it’s previous no 4 spot. Creator Brendan Greene announced the news on his twitter:

There are still some milestones to be reached, as Fallout 4 and, obviously, DOTA 2 and Counter-strike: Global Offensive sit on top.
