Looks like we have another astonishing story of an extraordinary success of a PC indie game, as the multiplayer title hits the 4 million mark.

The creator of the game, Brendan Greene, has just announced on Twitter that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, a multiplayer battle royale-type game that’s still in Early Access, sold 4 million copies in just… 3 months. Wow.

It looks like PC masses were just waiting for this game to happen and hopped right onto the bandwagon. The game was released into Early Access in March of this year. Two weeks ago the developers said that there are 3 million players out there, on the island, and now… now it seems that another million joined their ranks. Astonishing.
