Bluehole’s gem of a game when it comes to sales has hit a new personal record.

The game has sold more than 5 million copies during its relatively short tenure. It took just 4 months for an early access production to hit the jackpot.

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds stays strong and community controversies – like the recent banning of a famous YouTuber and the fight going on twitter – only seem to be helping the title.

The 5 million mark is even more impressive if we factor in the game never being discounted and only appearing on one platform.

It is supposed to hit Xbox later this year (also, come out of early access) and might be a big boost to Microsoft’s own console.
