Peter Moore leaves EA to join LFC

Interesting news for both gamers and fans of the Liverpool Football Club.

Peter Moore was selected as the new chief executive officer for the Liverpool Football Club. You may not know that Moore was born in Liverpool, so he’s going back to his roots. He will take up his new role later this year, in June, and report directly to Fenway Sports Group owning the club.

Peter Moore has spent almost ten years working with Electronic Arts. Recently he served as the chief competition officer for EA’s competitive gaming division. Earlier, he worked with Microsoft. Many gamers might remember his tattoos used to announce Halo 2 (release date) and Grand Theft Auto IV. The latter was confirmed to be a temporary one, but some sources claim that Moore still has a Halo tattoo. Now it’s time for something football-inspired!
