One of the biggest gaming events of 2018, Pax East, just concluded. It took place in Boston Massachusetts and lasted 4 days- from April 5th to April 8th.
Unsurprisingly, the event’s main thing, as far as video gaming is concerned was Battle Royale, proving that the hype is still going strong. We witnessed many live sessions of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds as well as various presentations on the subject, giving us an idea of what the genre is about, how it came to be such a big hit with modern gamers and what could the future have in store for us. One thing is certain: we can look forward to more companies playing around with the formula, giving us more new and exciting games.
