If something doesn’t appear horribly broken, don’t expect Bungie to release a patch.

Age of Triumph was said to be the final content update for Destiny before Bungie moves its full focus to Destiny 2’s development. And while the changes were well-received by the community, and only minor fixes were needed, it seems that players wanted more.

“We’ve heard many of you asking if the current sandbox will get another design pass,” we read in the latest issue of This Week At Bungie. DeeJ from the development team re-confirmed that the main focus of the company is Destiny 2 and no new updates are coming to the original game. Take a look at further explanation:

All hands at Bungie are committed to making Destiny 2 the sequel that this community deserves. We have a Beta this summer that will demand your bug reports. This fall will begin an entirely new cycle of updates for a brand new game that we think will be the best answer to the feedback you’ve give us since the original launch of Destiny.
