Oculus Rift and Touch controller get price cut

A little VR action, a little cheaper – the touch controller, although relatively new on the market, gets a price cut.

The whole bundle – the Rift and the controller – are now available for 500 $, which is a one hundred bucks drop as compared to the previous price shift back in march. I connection with the “Summer of Rift” sale, you can even go as low as 399 – check out the video.

That puts Oculus in a great position opposite other VR platforms on the market, making it more affordable than the HTC Vive and PlaystationVR.

Let’s just hope that the company’s moves are just a signal of business well done rather than a desperate shot in view of market valuation.
