Salmon Run that allows up to four players to play together, defeat bosses and fight for Power Eggs is something unique. Unique in Nintendo style, so to say. You would expect that the online version of this mode will be available permanently, but that won’t be the case in Splatoon 2.
“Each match in Salmon Run lasts for three waves, with players having to collect a select number of Power Eggs to advance to the next wave – oh, and at least one player on the team has to stay alive.,” we read.
While you can play Salmon Run anytime on local multiplayer, the online option with matchmaking and finding other players is time-sensitive and available in specified time periods. No idea why Nintendo went with designated time slots, really…
