New Thief game and movie are in the works

An official description of the movie revealed the existence of another game.

The news comes from Straight Up Films, the company behind the upcoming Thief movie. The story is written by Adam Mason and Simon Boyes. It is said to “tell a new chapter in the storied world of the series’ hero.”

The description isn’t lengthy, but confirms the existence of another, yet unannounced game: “Widely considered to be one of the greatest games ever created, a fifth sequel is currently in development to be released in step with this motion picture adaptation.”

As for now, we have to wait for a proper announcement from Square Enix. The previous game serving as a soft reboot of the IP was released in 2014.
