As the release date gets closer, we’re getting more and more materials showing the various facet of the Monster Hunter: World…world. Recently the time came for the Coral Highlands, a place clearly filled with beauty.

It’s unclear why the armored guy tries to kill the giant fuzzy lizard-bat thingy, but I suppose it’s par for the course that a monster hunter hunts monsters like good editors hunt tautologies. There is also some nice traversal, dynamic interactions between various monsters,

Judging by the videos, it’s a nice thing we’re getting the game because it’s a beauty and it’s clearly going to be a rather complex experience in a fantastical world. PC players especially didn’t have anything like it since the PC launch of Dragon’s Dogma, and although DD is great fun, Monster Hunter looks like it’s older brother who has already gone to college in comparison. We’ll see.
