National Basketball Association is getting into the esport business next launching their NBA 2K League. The association believes that it is the right time to step into the field of electronic sports at this time and is planning to commit long term.

- New York Knicks
- Orlando Magic
- Philadelphia 76ers
- Portland Trail Blazers
- Sacramento Kings
- Toronto Raptors
- Utah Jazz
- Washington Wizards
NBA 2K esports league Managing Director Brendan Donohue said:
“This is the first step in what promises to be an extraordinary league, bringing together the world’s best gamers and showcasing elite competition on an international stage.
