The excellent cat dress-up simulator and to a lesser extent action game is almost here.

The game has already been a resounding success with over 8 millions copies distributed world-wide, while being a console exclusive, so I can only imagine what prosperity the PC release will bring to the title. And there is a demand for it, oh there certainly is.

In terms of content, the PC release won’t be missing anything big from the console version. Even though there’s been a lot of DLC for Monster Hunter World, all of it has been cosmetic. Though an argument could be made that in a game where character customization is this deep and important, cosmetic DLC is a pretty big deal.

Monster Hunter World arrives on August 9 in all the impractical glory of swinging ginormous swords at scaly monsters and dressing up your furry cat companion. Cannot wait.
