Monster Hunter Wilds hasn’t been released for a full day yet, but that doesn’t deter modders even a little bit, and the first tweaks and changes are already coming in.
At the time of writing Nexus Mods already lists 42 mods for Wilds [1], and a significant portion of them are ReShade tweaks to the game’s color palette and contrasts aiming for a vibrant look the game struggles to deliver if you don’t have an HDR-enabled display.
Other mods includes quality of life tweaks, such as automatic restocking, ortechnical fixes, but there are also mods you really shouldn’t have on unless you’re playing solo, like changes to fundamental systems which might be unwelcome in multiplayer lobbies.
As time moves on, more Monster Hunter Wilds mods are sure to arrive, and it’s almost a guarantee that we’ll eventually see Thomas the Tank Engine plugged into the game. He would be a wonderful Balahara.
