The existing team is probably too small to handle the future story content for the game.

Kotaku’s Jason Schreier has a rather worrying report about the future of Mass Effect: Andromeda. If his sources are correct, and the case was confirmed by a few of those, the game won’t receive any single player DLC to expand the story.

This is a result of poor performance and the Bioware Montreal studio being scaled down, with various employees moved to Anthem, the new Dragon Age, Star Wars Battlefront II and other projects. If that’s the future state of Andromeda, we should expect further multiplayer updates and some additional patches at most.
