As the game received the “gold” status, there’s some work to finish.
You might remember that we reported about the “gold” status of Mass Effect Andromeda. Basically, it means that developer team finished their base work and the game was sent for certification and other publishing activities. No rest for the wicked, alas.
BioWare now focuses on Day One patch as confirmed by Ian S. Frazier (Ian, we love your answers!), game’s Lead Designer:

Mass Effect Andromeda is set to release on March 21st in North America and March 23rd in Europe. But the Day 1 patch should be prepared earlier. On March 16th the users of Origin Access and EA Access will be able to play a 10-hour trial of the game. It was later confirmed by Andromeda’s Producer, Michael Gamble, that it’s the studio’s intention to release the patch for the Early Access launch, but nothing is 100% sure.
