Remember Xbox Live Avatars? They were pretty sweet a hundred years ago, right? Well, they are coming back in a changed form.
The Avatar 2.0 is coming to both Xbox One and Windows 10 in an effort to further unify the two platforms. They were created in Unity. As you can see in the video, their various parts will interact with the environment to make them look more alive.
The new Xbox Live avatars are coming this fall, probably around the time the new Xbox One X launches November 7th.
