Gwent with a single-player campaign

What’s a game without a story? Well, we don’t need to find out.

CD Projekt’s card game is getting its single-player solution with a story mode announced during Gamescom this year.

Thronebreaker will tell the story of Meve, queen of two Northern Realms. She is a war veteran who is now facing the invasion on her lands. Take a look:

According to the producers, Thronebreaker is going to shake-up the game’s rules “in unexpected ways” and also have some other gameplay elements such as resource gathering.

We don’t know when the Gwent campaign will be released but it is expected to appear PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
