Developer Telltale Games has confirmed that it works on an untitled Marvel-licensed title a while back (in 2015), but little detail has been revealed since. Recently, however, Eurogamer reported that it may be a Guardians of the Galaxy game.
The information comes from “a list of projects affected by the ongoing US voice-actor strike”, reports Eurogamer, and the game appears as “Blue Harvest”.
The 2017 release date roughly coincides with the premiere of James Gunn-directed sequel to Marvel’s Guardians of the galaxy movie, it is unknown, however, which continuity (if any) will be followed by the game.
It is likely that Telltale Games will officially announce the game during The Game Awards in December, a gala they used in 2015 to announce their Batman game.
