The sequel to PlayStation’s incredible Ghost of Tsushima’s been slowly cooking on the down low, but it reemerged with a new trailer and a release date.
First things first: the revenge-fueled adventure will begin this year, on October 2nd.
Ghost of Yōtei will be set three hundred years after its predecessor, and will follow a warrior called Atsu, who family was murdered, providing a blood-soaked motivation for the new Ghost. The trailer introduces us to some of the targets.
The game will feature a number of new features such as weapons unseen in GoT. Given Sucker Punch Productions’ talent and skill in creating riveting action games, and the experience gained making Ghost of Tsushima, the path ahead of GoY is bright and promising.
Now we just need to wait until October for it to release for PlayStation 5… and hopefully it will find its way to PC as well.
