The first G2A Deal has nearly a month under its belt, a month of purchases, but also a month of questions. Dedicated to providing a great and transparent service, we have collected and adressed many of the most popular doubts surrounding Deal. So, without further ado, this is G2A Deal’s FAQ.

Why do the games have expiration dates?

We do understand that this is an inconvenience, but that was out of our hands. Our partners providing the keys wanted it this way and we could either agree to these terms, or not create Deal at all. We chose the former, despite the inconvenience.

Is there a chance my Steam account could be banned if I use keys from them?

You don’t have to worry. Using the keys we provide is not going to jeopardize it in any way. Your Steam Library is as safe as ever, so you can freely activate the keys.

Is G2A bullying devs with such low prices?

No such thing happened or is happening. We worked closely with the developers and/or publishers of the games we offer you in G2A Deal. We contacted them about the games they can and are willing to offer, and we have signed aggreements detailing the terms.

Here: https://www.facebook.com/microids/posts/1217590214983453 you see the official statement from Microids, the developers of Syberia games, regarding this partnership.

Why did you give an subscribing option, if I can buy it for Euro cheaper and then instantly cancel the subscription?

This is only the case to the first edition of G2A Deal. The upcoming ones with be priced at 2,49€ for subscribers. We plan to introduce additional benefits above and beyond just the games to reward subscribers for staying with us. More details will be revealed in future editions of G2A Deal. tl;dr: subscribing and staying subscribed will be rewarding in the long run.

Is this like the other bundle, where you have to pay before you know the contents?

No. You can freely subscribe at any time. If you want, you can do it right away, if you don’t you can wait until all the titles are already revealed. It’s your choice.

Is there a way to confirm that the subscription has been cancelled? I did not get an email confirmation.

Yes, there is. You can find this information on your account. For further referrence please check this website.

When you say it will expire after one month does that mean that you rent them for 1 month and then they are gone?

Not at all. It only means, that after the purchase you have one month to activate the key before it becomes irredeemable. Once you *do* activate it, the game stays yours until the end of human civilisation. In other words, the keys have expiration date, but the games don’t.

The subscription says 1.5 € but in small text “next months: 2.49 € (+VAT, +fee)”. Does that mean the subscription will cost 2.49 € from next month on for everyone or just for those who subscribe then?

The first is the correct answer. You can subscribe at any time and you will still pay 2,49€ (plus VAT and fee). That is also true for those, who subscribed last month. 2,49€ will be the static cost for any and all subscribers.

Isn’t it kinda hypocritical that G2A doesn’t want people selling keys on their own site?

This is a result of our agreements with developers and publishers providing us with keys. We would gladly offer you this chance, however the contracts are binding. Again: this is an inconvenience we chose to accept to bring you G2A Deal.

1.50 € if you subscribe, 2.50 € for a one-off purchase. Supposedly you can unsubscribe at any time, which makes the latter option curious.

This is true, you can unsubscribe at any moment. We do hope, however, that G2A Deal will be attractive enough for you to stay subscribed longer and enjoy the reward we plan on introducing in the future.

I think this definitely looks like a “too good to be true” sort of situation.

It is a reasonable concern, but rest assured: we are eagerly cooperating with the developers and publishers on a regular basis. G2A Deal is just one form of this. The other is G2A Direct, bringing over 100 developers and their products under our roof. The numbers are growing. You can check it out yourself. So this is one of those times when “too good to be true” is actually true.

This is legit, right? Since this is actually G2A selling it, not people on the marketplace of G2A, so G2A can be held accountable if the keys are illegal?

Yes, this is legit. We have signed multiple agreements with the developers and publishers involved to make sure everything is on the up-and-up. Should you have any problem with the keys, we will handle it so that in the end everyone is satisfied.

It’s a bit interesting the Superhot devs would devalue their game so much. You could easily see this being featured in a Humble Monthly for a higher value.

Although a lot of the behind-the-scenes is considered a trade secret and we aim to honor it at all times, we can say this much: we have an agreement with Superhot Team and they have been active in G2A Direct for some time now. No developers were harmed in the forming of this Deal.

I’m pretty sure keys and promotions are handled by the publishers and not the devs.

This is dependent on the specific agreements between the developer and publisher. If the developers sign over the rights to their publishers, then the publishers can in fact sell them wherever and however they want. This is not alway the case, however.

Why can’t I pay with PaySafe Card? Giving my credit card info looks shady to me.

PaySafeCard is in fact one of the methods we accept. Others are G2A Wallet without fees, traqditional bank transfers, credit cards you mentioned, PayPal, Bitcoins, Boku, Skrill, Neteller… PaySafe Card is among them.

How is it possible that G2A deal is so cheap?

That’s a result of our close cooperation with the develoeprs and publishers. They are the ones providing the keys for G2A Deal. It is by the power of these agreements that we can offer this package at this price.

I didn’t receive the Deal.

It’s certainly a situation that should have never happened. We are working hard to ensure every transaction is concluded quickly and without issues, but every Deal means a high volume of orders that need to be processed nearly simultaneously. As a result there may be delays between concluding the payment and getting the goodies. If you did not receive your Deal after several minutes, send out support a ticket and it will be sorted out.

I got charged twice (or more) for Deal #2.

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience. Refunds were issued as soon as we were able to ascertain who was overcharged, and the money should be on your account already. There may have been delays depending on the services used to pay for the Deal, however, and they were out of our control. If you got charged two or more times and didn’t reveal the keys (an essential condition), but still didn’t get the refund send the ticket to our support and we will fix it quickly. Your patience and understanding were and are appreciated.

Where to unsubscribe on the G2A site? I’ve been searching ages and can’t find it.

If you are certain you want to unsubscribe from G2A Deal, the process is simple and can be completed anytime. You just need to proceed to the link after logging into the system with your ID. There you will be able to unsub without any problems. We hope future Deals will reignite your enthusiasm and you’ll decide to come back.

I unsubscribed and got charged anyway.

This should have never happened. Since there is no “one-size-fits-all” guide of fixing it, please contact out Support Center for a solution that is fits your specific situation. We will do our best to solve it as quickly as possible.

Will there be a bonus game for loyal subscribers, like Planar Conquest in Deal #2?

We appreciate everyone who decides to stay subscribed for a long time and we have many ideas how to reward this commitment. We will keep them as surprises, however, to be revealed alongside new Deals.

We hope we put your doubt to rest and that you found our answers informative and reassuring. If so check our G2A Deal once again!

Should you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
