We’ve all got used to getting glimpses of games as publishers give us “free weekends” to reel us into buying their product. But this time it’s worth the hassle.

You can head onto Steam and enjoy the game until August 27. War of the Chosen, the upcoming expansion, is not so far away so it might be a good idea to see if that’s what you’re into.

XCOM 2 is the sequel to a fantastic strategy game, that single-handedly returned the turn based conflict into the limelight. As usual, the 2 in the name stands for bigger, better and more.

Rainbow Six: Siege

If you’re into something more dynamic than the other weekend proposal is Ubisoft’s online tactical shooter. It’s available for to download and play between August 24 and 27 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game boasts 20 million players, which means that you can get your butt kicked by a large group of people. What more could you want?
