What’s Fallout Day, you might ask? Well, it’s an annual celebration of the Fallout franchise by Bethesda.
Why October 22? Well, that’s because this is the day when people went underground sheltering themselves in the Vaults in the in-game universe. What do Fallout 76 players get out of this? Lets’ find out.
For starters, there’s a new raid: Gleaming Depths. It’s a research lab in the Ash Heap. Mysterious research was conducted there by the Enclave and you’ll get to find out what that was. This means battling all sorts of beasts and bots. Will you defeat the Ultracite Terror?
Another big announcement is that you’ll be able to play as a ghoul, pretty much for the first time ever in the series. Ghouls have some special perks, but they must be careful regarding who they hang out with, as some folks just don’t like ‘em very much.
More? You’ll get to craft Four-Star Legendary Gear, earn special Player Titles, and add pets – a cat and a dog – to your C.A.M.P.S. Sounds like a whole slew of fun new content!
