The developers are steadily working on Escape from Tarkov, which will get a closed beta version in July.
The closed beta will be available to all who pre-ordered the game and will introduce many changes and additions to the otherwise impressive title. What can you expect?
First off, for a small sum of in-game currency you will be able to insure your equipment to increase the chance of keeping it after respawning. A new Merchant will also appear along with new loot, medicine and other useful items. There will be new weapon parts and ammunition types and the MP5 submachine gun. Another location, the Shoreline, will be added as the largest map in the game yet.
So there’s plenty to be excited about. Escape from Tarkov is being developed for PC in the Unity 5 engine.
