Morrowind. This one word is enough for you to hear the main theme of The Elders Scrolls III in your mind.
I’ve played Skyrim a lot. Thankfully, Morrowind was released in times before every game included a Steam key and as a result my playtime wasn’t recorded – I expect it being far beyond 300 hours. Now we’ll be able to visit Morrowind in The Elder Scrolls Online.
The upcoming expansion is set around 700 years before The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and adds around 30 hours of new adventures. During this story we’ll help Vivec, “the legendary warrior-poet and Guardian of Vvardenfel”. The add-on introduces a new class, the Warden, which can use nature-based spells and help from a War Bear.
A new PvP mode called Battlegrounds will be added, allowing you to play 4v4v4 matches in the Ashlands. A 12-player Trial set in Telvanni tower of Tel Fyr is also planned when the expansion goes live on June 6th on all platforms. Various editions are available for preorder depending on your earlier experience (if you are a newcomer, there’s a nice bundle with the original game).
