Looks like the gorgeously looking indie platformer Cuphead won’t be coming to another E3 as the developers finally reveal its release date.
The stylish, retro indie game will release on September 29. The project was revealed back in 2014, but delays in this industry are nothing new and the indie market is not very different in this respect. Here’s the trailer from the Microsoft conference:
This run and gun title is developed by two brothers, Chad and Jaren Moldenhauer. Its graphics is stylized after 1930s cartoons. You can band up with another player to battle various huge bosses throughout branching levels. The brothers plan to break the Guinness record for the most bosses in a single game with a whopping number of 30 big baddies. Ambitious, this one.
The game will be available for Xbox One and PC alike and is published by Microsoft.
