CoD: Modern Warfare Remastered celebrates St. Patrick’s Day

Yep, the remaster gets a lot of love from the developers and we KNOW why.

It’s a form of irony that we write about an event that occurs in a game being a bonus for players that have bought a different Call of Duty product. Now the remastered version of Modern Warfare (added to copies of Infinite Warfare) will get an event for St. Patrick’s Day.

The video embedded above describes quite properly what you’ll get in the weeks to come. First, there are free supply drops, one per week, that you can get if you log in and open them. They don’t stack up, so you should open each before Sunday at 11:59PM PDT.

Operation: Shamrock & Awe, as it is called, will end at 12:01AM PDT on April 3rd. Moreover, there’s Daybreak – a reimagination of Downpour map – that will be available only during this event. And there are more themed goodies like camos and collections.
