Indeed, we live in strange times if patches get titles.
We love the idea of games being expanded for free after the release (only if the base game is a full product at release, though), but in the case Civilization VI this achieves a rather peculiar tone – the update received an official name. Australian Summer 2017 Update is “coming soon” and will be available for all Steam users.
The update will include Steam Workshop support and a set of modding tools for all those people who would like to add lasers into the gameplay. Multiplayer teams are also on the way, allowing you to play in co-op with friends and fight AI-lead or live enemies. Other bug fixes and improvements are also planned.
As the title suggests, another faction paid DLC is also planned with John Curtin, the 14th Prime Minister of Australia at the helm. You can watch the video introduction below:
