We’ve been getting a steady stream of leader and civilization updates for the latest installment of Civilization, but now we get an expansion proper, which promises to be the best yet.
There are dark and golden ages introduced where your actions as a leader either put you in a dump or give you extra bonuses with even better rewards.
“Rise triumphantly from a Dark Age and your next Golden Age will be even stronger – a Heroic Age.”
The expansion also brings a loyalty system for cities which now will individual bid their submission to you based on your actions and their state.
Players will also find nine new leaders, eight civilizations, a number of new units, wonders, districts, buildings.
The expansion is set for February 8, 2018.
