Challenge Rifts coming to Diablo III

The Necromancer is not the only addition to Diablo III, Challenge Rifts are coming as well.

Blizzard just can’t let go of their beloved Diablo III baby and just keeps adding stuff to the game. If you’re a fan, you must be thrilled. If you are waiting for another WarCraft game – probably not so much.

Let’s give Blizzard’s blog post a voice to describe what the Challenge Rifts are all about: “Challenge Rifts are a weekly static version of a previously completed Greater Rift. To create a Challenge Rift, we pull a Greater Rift run directly from a player’s account. Once we have that snapshot, we make that exact character, including their items, paragon levels, skills, and gear available for everyone to play.”

Both the Necromancer and the Challenge Rifts will be introduced to Diablo III with the 2.6 patch.
