It seems that the early numbers for the series are good because it immediately got the next season ordered.
Short, yet interesting news: after the initial debut of animated version of Castlevania on Netflix on July 7th the series has now a confirmed second season. As for now, no date was given, but with such a quick decision we expect the work to be well under way.
The first season includes four episodes and the second season will have that doubled to eight episodes in total. Warren Ellis (the writer of season one), Kevin Kolde, Adi Shankar and Fred Seibert will serve as executive producers. We’ll update you when more information surfaces.
