Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still happening, if you wondered

When almost all hope was lost we received a new cinematic trailer.

It’s been a long time since the original Beyond Good & Evil was released (November of 2003, if you want a reminder of how old you are). With various teasers and no direct confirmation all hope was seemingly almost lost. It was also stated that the second game won’t be available at E3 2017.

But then the Ubisoft’s conference happened and it was finished with a cinematic trailer for Beyond Good & Evil 2. No, there’s still no gameplay, neither there is any possible release date.  You should also remember that the game is a prequel and should be treated as “spiritual successor”.
