The hype machine is on and it’s producing some real gems.

The new Assassin’s Creed game is roughly a month away and Ubisoft is doing everything in their power to not let us forget about it.Thus there are some huge expectations about the game. But just look at this trailer:

To keep us interested the company is also funding some interesting projects. Recently they announced a combat-free educational mode for the game and now we also learn about The Hieroglyphics Initiative. It is a project that uses machine learning to translate hieroglyphs.

This was, apparently, a result of the team “realizing how challenging it still is to unlock the secrets of the past and wondered how modern technology could help”. A very interesting move, especially taking under consideration a partnership with Google. Head to the official website of the project to learn more.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is out on Xbox One, PC and PS4 on October 27.
